On the computer - through a site that lets you download those isos (DON'T SAY THAT, IT'S PIRACY)

Onto the SanDisk - copy, paste or send

Onto the Wii - install the emulator, put the isos in a special folder in the root

If you want to get the game on your computer LEGALLY you will put your STORE BOUGHT Sega Saturn disk in the computer (this is BEFORE they encrypted games so that disk's couldn't work in PC drives). Then copy the files to your computer, then paste then use MagicISO or PowerISO (you can use the demo version or buy it if it doesn't work in the demo, but DON'T pirate it by using a keygen). These ISO programs will allow you to put your files into a disk image.

Then if you want to play them on your Wii, copy the ISO disk image to your SD card in the "roms" (or equivalent) directory, and put the card in your Wii to play with your Sega Saturn emulator.

@Videogamer

Its not piracy if you originally owned the game (plus Nintendo charges way to much for those Virtual Console games...)

You missed out a SAM coupé emulator!

Why? Because the Dive cant read the format of disc?

Exactly

That's what I thought. Bummer.

However, it may be possible in a future version because of the release of libdi. :)

A PS1 emulator for Wii would be awesome and I hope one is available sometime soon. But what I have on my mind is a Nintendo DS emulator for Wii. You could use the wiimote as the stylus and touching would be emulated by holding the A or B button and the classic controller as the rest of the controls, and you view one screen on the TV screen and alternate between the top and bottom screens by pressing zl + zr on the classic controller and be able to view both screens at half size at the same time.

how about a philips CD-i emulator, its remote is just like a smaller wiimote without motion sensing, and it has a fairly nice library, plus I can't imagine its much trickier to emulate than anything else.

Nah CD-I isn't a system worth emulating.

If that were to happen then Zelda: Wand of Gamelon would make its way into a Nintendo system. That is an unholy event that must never come to pass.

I think a CD-I emulator should be available. Everyone wants to play those horrible games, just to see them in real life.

You can actually just do a direct copy of the disc without having to paste it into MagicISO or a program like that. imgburn and several other programs can do it. It's awful handy when making backups of old games that are expensive to replace/you're too broke to buy a new copy of. :D

It's still piracy if you don't make the disc image/ROM/whatever yourself, BTW. Dammed stupid piracy laws! I'd like to be able to legally download a copy of Harvest Moon, a game I own, without needing a Wii and 6 bucks. Playing it via an emulator is the only option I got since the cart is basically dead.

Does the Wii have a CD compatible lens? I wouldn't know.

this. I've been trying to emulate cd-i on my PC, but the only two emulators out there only play Rise of the Robots and the other doesn't recognize any ROMs I throw at it. We NEED a good cd-i emulator!

I think Sega CD and the Ataris (2600, 5200, 800, Lynx ect..) should be added to the list.
