Mega Code Downloader Doesn't Work for Me Anymore

Hello! For the past month, I've had problems using Mega Code Downloader.
It works fine up until I select the game list region.
My wii either freezes, or the app freezes and reboots to the HBC.
It worked fine before, which is why I'm confused on why it's stopped working for me.
And yes, I have updated it to the latest version of it and and it still doesn't work.

Are you using the latest version of the HBC, too?

I believe that is because the website it goes to for the codes is no longer there...

GeckoCodes is still up.

I've had similar problems as the topic creator. I updated to the latest version provided in the Homebrew Browser, running that through the latest version of the HBC results in a black screen. I cannot find the author's main site, or any link mentioning about the newer version either. Any help would gladly be appreciated.
