How do I remove wii home?

How do I remove wii home?
February 13, 2010 12:55AM
So yeah, I installed it using priiloader. But after a few uses, I have decided that I don't really need the plugin and want to remove it. But the question is, how can I remove it? I ask this because my WC24 standby connection is not working, even though I have it turned on in my wii settings. So in other words, how do I remove it? I was thinking I might just need to reinstall priiloader, but I need confirmation. Thanks! Also, sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

You can just change the autoboot back to System Menu in the priiloader settings menu.

I did change my autoboot setting, but my question has kid of changed. My WC24 standby connection won't work anymore, even though in my settings say it is on. I only asked about removing because I believed it would fix the problem (it did nothing the first few times, now standby WC24 won't work).

Strange, dunno what causes this issue/how to fix it. Sorry.

It's ok. It's no brick, but I just wanted to see if something could be done.

To get the WC24 standby connection to work, you may need to uninstall Priiloader.

It was probably the installed file, priiloader NEVER did that to me until I installed the file.

If I remember correctly, the system menu is running when WC24 is used. If Preloader (or Priiloader) is installed, WC24 launches Preloader instead of the system menu. I would assume that if the autoboot setting in Preloader is set to system menu, this wouldn't matter. However, if the autoboot setting is set to something else, WC24 shouldn't work. I haven't confirmed this myself, but it makes sense and seems to be the case here.

Changing the autoboot setting in Priiloader to system menu should allow WC24 to work, so you could reinstall it if you want.
