Removing Homebrew

if i update will this get rid of all traces of homebrew because i don't use it much and its just becoming more of a hassle to avoid updates

EDIT: ok i updated and it says im on 4.3 but it wont let me in the wii shop channel Help!

What Location have you set for your WII? Try changing it to United States if not....

Update IOS 61 and the shop channel.
