IOS 2?
September 26, 2010 07:23AM
I just finished making a Nand backup through BootMii and read the installer.txt file.

It shows that I have an IOS 2 installed, I havent heard of such thing before. I had IOS 3 installed but I deleted that crap as it doesnt do anything and its not on the update servers.

So anyway, can someone please tell me what this "IOS 2" is?

It doesnt even show up on Dop-Mii, is it safe? Is it official?

Installer.txt:

HackMii v0.8 installer starting up
PVR = 00087200

You have System Menu 4.3U?
That is what's showing up as IOS2. It says version 201 which when converted to decimal is 513 which is 4.3U.

Yes, I have 4.3U

I didn't know that's what it meant! Thanks! :)

*I ran the HackMii installer after I made the back up with bootmii (Thats what I meant to say in the first post)*

Yeah, it really shouldn't do that; I don't see why it would detect the System Menu as an IOS but I think it came up somewhere before..

I thought HackMii Installer was cleverer than that...ah well, it does no harm.
