Safe boot2 installer?

I'm currently looking to install 4.3u on my 4.0u wii. I'm fallowing for a while the scene but there is really something that bother me and that I'm not really sure about; I remember the 4.2 update to have a "Borken" boot 2 updater causing severals wii to brick; Ever since i'm not even sure if ninty fixed that issue.

I currently have bootmii as boot2 (yep one of the very few :P) and i'm wondering what would be the best approch to update my wii?(beside installing hbc before installing 4.3; i know)

Is it safe? can i do an offline update? (i know with nus patcher if i recall correctly)

The only way that your wii would break while updating boot2 is if you lose power. No homebrew tool is any safer than nintendo's tools. Just make sure that you dont updating your wii during a thunderstorm and you'll be fine
