Zelda Twilight Princess - Twilight Hack

Will be buying a wii shortly, and started reading these forums. Is this still the case to install 'homebrew', it is a
requirement to purchase this game (in order to get the saved game?).If this is the case, a naive question, is why
someone couldn't just post a saved game file to utilize in the installation? I read it is caused by a buffer overflow
in the app, so is that the real gist, that you need to accomplish this, and then can get this to work?|

Assuming that this is still the main way to utilize this.

Yes, you still need Zelda Twilight Princess to install the Homebrew Channel.

the Zelda TP game launches the hacked game save, so it is still needed unless you are <3.3 and have a mod chip...

... which is not applicable if he's about to buy a wii ...
