System Update

I bought Fortune Street and want to play it, but it requires a system update. I try to do the system update, but it fails. I tried updating onlime and I get error 32004. I have Homebrew on my Wii, which I assume is the prolem. I deleted the Homebrew channel, but I guess that's not enough. What do I need to do to be able to update? I will really appreciate any help.

You can avoid the update by using Gecko OS or Priiloader. Chances are, it is unnecessary.
