code dump then freeze on update

Hi,

I'm new to HB. I did the hack yesterday and can download apps from my computer (iMac OS8), but HBB doesn't work.

I've uploaded the HBB from the wiki, v039c, which when I run it gives me an error that there is a boot.elf problem.

I've uploaded another HBB which tries to update itself even when I press the B button telling it not to, resulting, eventually, in a code dump.

When I upload the newest version from the source page, it won't run.

So, to sum up, I can't use the HBB browser for downloading and I'm at a loss as to what to do.

What I have done is delete the SD card several times and started over from Letterbomb three times. Everytime I get an imperfect version of HBB and am unable to download anything directly. I can, however, upload programs onto the HD and play them in the HB channel.

Any suggestions on how to make the HBB work?
