Need a little help please

Ok guys so I bought a wii yesterday (Total noob) and I want to install the homebrew channel. Do I need a GameCube memory card to install the homebrew channel aswell as an sd card? because when I play the Twilight princess it asks to save data but it won't let me save it to the sd card, it only wants the gamecube memory card. How do I save to the wii so I can copy over the Europe Twilight hack and get rid of the "You must play it once error"?

You do have the Wii version of Twilight Princess right? (Not the Gamecube version)
