My friend is going to buy a new wii. I already have mines hacked so I know all the steps. I just want to know what is the version of the wii if you buy a new one. Will it be updated?

If you buy a new one within this week, it will probably be no higher than 3.4 If it is on 4.0 somehow you will have to wait for a new hack.
