Just bought a Wii ... Questions

Hello, I am new to the wii modding scene. I have been modding xbox's for years though. Was wondering if anyone could help point me in the right direction. With xbox I used the textbook tutorial which was awesome. I was wondering could someone shoot me a link to the best tutorial for modding Wii's. Also, I just bought it from best buy ten minutes ago, are the new versions safe to mod? Looks like it is possible. Thanks in advance, just looking for some pointers.

use bannerbomb to run HackMii Installer and choose to install HBC. You are fully modded. Just work out how to use bannerbomb (its not hard) and you're sweet. Most guides to "modding" Wiis (or consoles in general really) are fail guides designed solely for the purpose of warez. Stay away from that stuff, its illegal, it harms the gaming industry and its dangerous.
