Shop channel requires system update, how to update?

I configured my Wii according to this:

Piracy Removed.

And it has been working great! However, now when I try to go into the Shop channel it tells me that a system update is required.

I have tried downloading and following guides on how to fix this, but I'm a bit of a n00b here and can't figure it out.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

get NUSD and wadimport. use nusd to download latest version of shop channel, pack to wad and install with wadimport

Download Dop-SHOP. It is designed to automatically download and install the latest Shop Channel from NUS (Nintendo's update servers). I used it on my Wii and it worked well.

update to the latest HBC version then do the official update.

Clean, simple, easy.
