Path Not Working? Help?
October 25, 2010 02:16PM
Whenever I use Programmers Notepad to compile stuff I get the error :
make failed to create process the system cannot find the file specified.

It was something like that and I browsed around and found the answer, it said to make sure the path variable is
C:\devkitPro\msys\bin\

How do I find out what my path variable is and how do I change it?

I am using Windows XP Desktop PC.

The windows installer/updater should have installed msys & set the path, assuming you didn't deselect msys. Run the updater again, see if that works. As for how to change your PATH, right click on "My Computer", and then choose "Properties", then "Advanced System Settings", then there should be an Environment Variables button.

Well anything you want really, but if you are looking for an easy one then you could try the audio examples. They are one of the easiest.
