Downgrade to 3.3 without homebrew but cant copy some vital saves

This sucks.

My brother just updated our wii 2 days ago, knowing that i wanted it 3.4 so i could get homebrew. My mom promised me she would take me tommorow to rent the game but system menu 4 has blocked twilight hack. I found a way to downgrade your wii without homebrew, but it would also erase all my saves. My most vital saves SSBB, CoDWaW, ACCF are unable to be copied. But reading around a bit (trying not to repost an already present topic) i heard about comex's exploit, is it a valid excuse for me to wait?

Plus, downgrading is risky. You could brick your Wii making it useless. I would wait for Comex's release.
