I have updated my wii at version 4.0e (europe) few weeks ago.
Can i install the homebrew channel?
Or can i perform a downgrade?
I don't have any modchip and i will use the homebrew channel for watch divx on my TV.

Wait for the new exploit, don't downgrade.

But i think... Why divx can't create a "divx channel"?! i can pay 500 wiipont for it (like opera browser).

Divx?

It's a program or codec or something to playback movies.

Is also a society who develop that codec.

Erm, I know what divx is :P

But its news to me that we can play divx on Wii via homebrew now (I dont really pay as much attention to the scene as I should in some respects). What apps have this capability?

Maybe he meant DVDx? I don't know, but I dont't see any divx apps.

Thats what I believe, which is why I called out the divx comments.

mplayer plays divx just fine.

he was saying Divx should make a channel to play video file on...not homebrew...


but yeah, I think we can play Divx with homebrew...
