Great. Just tried autoboot timeout, STILL DOESN'T WORK! Does it have something to do with the fact Bootmii's only installed as IOS?
Yeah, I'd think so.

hmm. I have the standard settings and I guess that it'd work if it's installed as Boot2. will try A.S.A.P!

EDIT: nope, still now working. This is my Settings file:

# BootMii config file

# Video mode, possible settings:
# NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE
VIDEO=NTSC

# Autoboot, possible settings:
# SYSMENU, HBC
#AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU

# Autoboot delay, in seconds:
# Default is 5
#BOOTDELAY=2

I am CERTAIN this is Beta2 I installed, as it gave me the uninstall message for Bootmii/IOS

Cool, all you have to do to make yourself autoboot either HBC or the System Menu us take out the # before the "AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU" line, and it will do it. The same applies to Bootdelay.

The # is put in place as a 'comment,' which is what programmers use when they want another programmer to understand what the code means, and when the code is compiled into a program, the compiler will skip those lines with # (or '//' in another programming language). So by you removing the #, you're telling Bootmii, "Hey pay attention HERE!"

Edit: Clarification and potentially added confusion.

Great! Don't know any programming languages, thats why. Will try A.S.A.P!

Edit: Dunnit! only 5 secs tho. won't go lower at all. :-(

Wait...So if I install BootMii, I won't be able to play GameCube games? I have 3.3E v2. If I update to 4.0, I definetly wont be able to play GC games with BootMii installed, right? That sucks.

Incorrect, SifJar. Just loaded up F-Zero GX, to make sure.
I remember bushing explaining the bootmii dev process, and the need to make bootmii work in a way that doesn't kill GC compatibility. I forget the specifics, but they found a way to do it, and it works here.
