Hackmii Installer w/ Bannerbomb freezes and I can't install.

I've got a 4.0u Wii with no prior homebrew on it, and have been trying to install the Homebrew Channel.

Downloaded the common version of Bannerbomb and Beta 2 of the HackMii installer. Once I pop in the SD card from the channels -> SD area, I get the popup dialog asking if I want to boot the DOL/ELF. I choose yes, and without fail, my Wii goes to a black screen where it freezes as the DVD drive blue light flashes on and off. I've been able to get other simple things running with Bannerbomb, so I don't think thats the issue.

Any ideas? And yes, I renamed it to boot.elf and I'm running it from the correct place.

Do you get the scam warning before it all goes black?

Yes, and I click on Yes to run the boot.elf

I have the same problem with the bannerbomb (and I don't want to use twilight hack) :(

Okay and after you click yes, do you get ANOTHER scam warning?

Okay well i guess you can try to remove any disk you may have in the drive as well as gamecube memory cards. That's about all i can figure so long as you're running v108 of bannerbomb (any variant).

If you can't get the installer to work, try using Loadmii instead for the meantime, it works okay.

EDIT: Oh yeah, you can also try going like this: bannerbomb -> loadmii -> hackmii installer beta 2 . That may get you where you wanna go...

How do I run it with Loadmii?

Put the hackmii installer anywhere you want and I think you could even change the name of it back to what it was before, then put loadmii where the installer used to be. when you get to loadmii (turn off WiiConnect24 just to be safe), select your hackmii installer and give that a try. No promises though.

I hate to say it but I think you're SOL. I would recommend just using Loadmii as your loader. Homebrew Browser still works as well as many of the other programs out there, so it should be good enough.

Wiiconnect24 is off? If not, it should be.

So what CAN you run with BaNNeRBoMB? MyLittleBall, Mahjong, anything?

Managed to get Loadmii working, but when I try to run the HackMii installer, I get a "error during loading phase" message.
