Can't copy from SD card onto Wii?

Hey guys, sorry for the stupid question (yes I did read the sticky at the top), but...

I downloaded the Twilight hack, replaced my Twilight princess save data with the "private" folder like it said in the readme, put the installer.elf from the Hackmii installer into the root directory and renamed it "boot.elf" like I should.

So then I stuck my SD card into the Wii, went to the save files, deleted the old Zelda file on the Wii, went over to the SD menu, where I now see "Twilight hack USA", "EUR" and "JPN". I tried copying the US version over, but it says "The data may not have been copied". It does not show up in the Wii save part of the menu.

Confused, I went to the sticky in this forum, where it says:

This left me a little confused because in the README it said to delete the original Zelda file. Nevertheless I made a new Zelda save file and THEN tried to copy over the "Twilight Hack USA" file, but then it says "This file is already on the Wii system" and therefore doesn't copy.


Can anyone help me?
I'm using Wii firmware 4.0U, if it matters.

TP hack is fixed on 4.0. Use bannerbomb.

EDIT: In the sticky it says you cannot, but you can through Bannerbomb? Is it risky at all?

The twilight hack doesnt work on 4.0, use bannerbomb instead.

While i'm here asking dumb questions, anyone know what the best homebrew tool is for making my Wii region free? (Or at least enable me to play JP region locked games?)
