new to wii

Hi guys,

I was going to get a wii soon and I was planning onto install the hbc since its looked great!!

So, I was wondering about several things.

I currently dont have TP and therefore probably cannot perform the twilight hack. But at the same time, I'm aware of bannerbomb as well.

I don't know what firmware the wii would be in, but which should I be using in terms of safeness?

also, for the bannerbomb, I understand that you use the hackmii installer along with it. Where do I put the unzipped "aad1f_v108.zip" folder in the SD card? Do I need to get a separate hbc installer in the SD card as well, or does the hackmii installer already have it in it?

Sorry for asking many questions and sorry if this thread is a duplicating one.

unzip the "aad1f_v108.zip" folder and put the entire private folder on your SD. the hackmii installer can install HBC, DVDx, and Bootmii. after you have installed HBC, download Homebrew browser to get some apps.

EDIT: Any firmware over 2.x will do
