newest wii update

I am wondering what does and doesn't work if you update your wii to the newest firmware. I don't use dvdx or any of that warez crap or wads. I have the newest version of the hbc installed, dvdx ( but I don't use it), and bootmii as boot2. I am running 3.3U.

AnyRegion Changer and Anytitle deleter don't work right at all, but that's probably the case for you right now too. Channel loading in GeckoOS is gone, but once again you might not be able to do that either.

If you're past the October 23rd update, then I think the consensus is "may as well update." If you had been on 3.2 we'd have told ya to stay there. Anyone else want to chime in?

Basically anything that says "requires an IOS that accepts fake signatures" on WiiBrew won't work. But as said above, if you have the Oct 23rd update, they won't work anyway, so you may as well upgrade for the extra features of 4.0. However, if you don't I'd say don't upgrade, stay where you are to make use of trucha bug apps.
