I've had quite a bit of experience, but this one has got me stumped. I've never had this problem.
I've recently upgraded to HBC 1.0.3 successfully (had to go through lots of troubleshooting. Turns out it had a conflict with an IOS or something, I have no idea... I'm still confused. At least it works now!)
I can see only some of the files in my apps folder. I cannot see other apps that I see in Windows.
