homebrew home browser problems newbie

can anyone advise have just done the homebrew on version 4.1e and the homebrowser is 0.3.2 but when i try to connect it gets my ip and the network succesfully retrieved but i get this error repeating while trying again and again it is
read errror 10076 retrying

hope somone here can advise what is wrong have tried googling but no answers

Is the little lock switch on the SD card locked? (happened to me a lot as the lock switch was broken)

no card is definatly open and not locked
