help me !!!!! knacked up my wii and dont know what to do

right here goes

i stupidly updated to 4.1 through nintendo

i had hbc installed and working but after update it just went to black screen

i deleted the channel not thinking i wouldnt get it back and i also installed a bad thingto try to get guitar hero 5 to work

now if i try to install hackmii to get the hbc back it says i " dont have a vulnerable ios "

are their any geniuses out there who can help me

Guitar Hero 5 works absolutely fine without cIOScorp, I'm pretty sure. I highly doubt an actual game manufacturer made a game which only works if illegal stuff is installed on the wii.

But anyway, you installed cIOScorp, which was a bad move. What you need to do is download WADs of every IOS replaced by cIOScorp with NUSD, and install them using WAD Manager, which must be running on cIOS (i.e IOS249). Seeing as you're the type to have cIOScorp, I guess you probably have cIOS as well, so it should be okay.

do you have a link for wads , and how do i run it if i cant install hbc channel

just tried the dop_ios method and tried to install hackmii again

still getting the no vulnerable iso message

cIOSCORP is full of fail. Instead of updating only one IOS, it overwrites all IOSes in a stupid way HackMii Installer won't recognize it correctly. Don't use it.

i realise that now :(

You need to google around for Wad Mangager, I'm not sure if its supported here, so no links. NUSD is a pc program. You can get it here.

I'm not exactly sure how to use it, so you could try getting help from someone else for that......

We cant link WADs, its illegal to download them from anywhere other than NUS (Nintendo's servers). Luckily, NUSD can download them from NUS.

right i have nusd and downloaded a file for ios 60 !!!


any ideas what now?

Use WAD manager to install it. To run wad manager, replace the hackmii installers boot.dol, and put the boot.dol for WAD manager on the root of your SD card. Make a folder on the root of your SD card called "wad", and then put this IOS60 wad inside of it. Run bannerbomb, and it should load wad manager. After its loaded, install the IOS. I think that should help you....

Make sure that the box at the bottom is checked to pack a WAD. Afterwards, go into the folder and you'll find a wad file in there. There are some other files too, don't worry about it.

What IOS did you run WAD Manager on? If it wasn't cIOS (i.e. IOS249), it wont have worked. And its not just IOS60 thats messed up on your wii, its most of them.

In other words, there are a lot more IOS WADs you need to install to get rid of cIOScorp.
