hackmii installer not working for me

It just says that there's no open IOSes to hack. I was able to install an old version of the homebrew channel using the twilight hack, but I'd like to have the newer version. Does anyone have a boot.dol/elf file that will install only version 1.0.5 like the Twilight Hack does?

I did. All it says is that there's no IOSes to hack. I used beta 5.

Did you rape your IOSs on previously? (ie: Install cIOSs and crap)

How can I do that?

Often running the installer again makes it uninstall. If not, harass the creator. Or use DOP-IOS Mod to install at least one vanilla IOS.

Unpatched, manufacturer software is refered to as "vanilla"

Okay, which IOS should I install (which one does hackmii use)?

Try 60 if you're not 4.2

If you're on 4.2, try 35 or 61.

Be sure to install the latest versions, not the oldest versions of these IOSs.

I tried 60 (I'm on 3.2) but it didn't make a difference. I tried it with the patch thingy, but it wouldn't install it.

Is there anything else I can do?

Don't use patches. It sounds like you have installed a newer version of cIOSCORP. This messes with it big time.

Try IOS 30 v1040

Yeah, I did have cIOSCORP, but now it works fine using the IOS for 3.2.

You mean using the last IOS I recommended it works fine?

I think it was that one, I can't remember.

Choose one of the IOSes that they mentioned and when it asks whether to apply the trucha-patch DON'T apply it.
