ES_DIVerify help

I have searched all over the internet and i cannot find a way to patch ES_DIVerify or ES_Identify to IOS70. I NEED A LINK OR SOMETHING! I need it to install preloader on system menu 4.2U. I also need to find a way to install cIOS rev 14 to IOS249. I need the cIOS to use StartPatch 4.2.4U.

For StartPatch, use the StartPatch 4.2 MOD, it lets you use other IOS instead. Stay clear of cIOS.

Which IOS should I use?

IOS36. You probably have ES_Identify (ES_DiVerify) in it, if you are able to install preloader, and you need ES_Identify (ES_DiVerify) for StartPatch. You can use any IOS that has it.

I am not able to install perloader. That is another thing i need help with. How do i patch ES_Identify?

Do you have any trucha bugged IOS?

No. I am currently running the latest IOS's,firmware,system menu,and everything else.

Then I am afraid we are unable to help you. You need a trucha bug, and there are ways to regain the trucha bug, but they are unsupported here because trucha bug is deemed "unnessecary" for regular users, and it helps pirates too much.

If you were a regular on the forum, and I believed you would not use the information for piracy, I would share it with you via PM, but I'm afraid I dont know that you wont. Sorry.

If you can find a way to restore trucha bug, then come back and I can tell you how to get StartPatch and preloader, but actually, you dont need StartPatch if you have preloader, all StartPatch patches are available as preloader hacks.ini

I installed trucha on IOS36 should i patch ES_Identify onto IOS36 or 70?

even if i am running 4.2U? will it help install peloader 0.30?

Yes, patch ES_Identify into IOS36 and install priiloader using phpgeek's unofficial preloader installer. It will patch IOS70 for you.

no it will not
the installer doesn't patch anything. priiloader itself (not the installer) doesn't need the ES_DIverify so why patch it? :-/

but yes : trucha signed & es_diverify patched ios36 is a must if youre loading this from HBC.

just did a test and when you bannerbomb load this dol you dont need any ios patching at all cause bannerbomb loads the dol with system menu permissions :D

Wait, so if you load the priiloader installer with bannerbomb, you dont need ANY patched IOS? That is amazing. You can have a fully updated Wii and just bannerbomb the priiloader installer and priiloader will install? Wow. That's quite a discovery. Will that work for any program which requires ES_Identify?

i dont know how bannerbomb works. maybe it gives the loaded dol special permissions or maybe my theory is right. eitherway, it was using my not patched ios70 and installation worked fine

I downgraded via tona's anyregion changer because i thought it would help. will it help?
