I updated back to 4.2. Priiloader has a corrupt zip file, so i can't download it. please help!

Why do you think its "corrupt" ?

It says "the compressed (zip) file is invalid or corrupted"

Why do you need to patch trucha on IOS70?

The Priiloader installer says i need to have a trucha enabled IOS70. I loaded it via the bannerbomb exploit. I also ugraded back to 4.2 because 3.2 had nothing to offer.

you loaded it via bannerbomb exploit and it didnt work? did you say continue anyway when it asked? or did you just exit when it told you that you needed patched IOS70? because it will ask "conintue anyway (will probably fail)?" or something along those lines, and you should tell it to continue anyway, and it should work just fine provided you loaded it via bannerbomb.

Woah, woah, woah. So if you load an app that requires trucha through bannerbomb, on a stock wii, it will work!?!? That could come in handy......

No, ES_Identify, not trucha. Becuase ES_identify lets the app identify as System Menu allowing it to do things it couldn't otherwise do, and when the homebrew is loaded via bannerbomb, it is already identified as System Menu, provided the IOS is not reloaded. So this will only work for homebrew which relies on ES_identify and does have an IOS_Reload() function in it. I believe you still need trucha bug for any homebrew which requires trucha bug, it is only the need for ES_Identify (ES_DiVerify) that is negated.

Indeed. Things like AnyTitle Deleter and StartPatch could be modified to not have an IOS_Reload, and they could work.

In fact, you could use a modified AnyTitle Deleter to delete an IOS and install an older version with wadimport or something and have trucha bug on 4.2...

oh. maybe it doesnt work then... dunno how daco got it working....i should have thought it should have worked. Sure you did everything right? Ran priiloader installer with bannerbomb?

Daco's like, the developer, so...

This is what i did. I took the private folder of bannerbomb and the boot.dol file of the instaler to the root of my sd. I then ran priiloader installer and pressed plus. I get a few things that say OK! then i get Is IOS70 trucha signed?, aborting mission. A few seconds later... Exception (DSI) occurred!
When do i get a continue anyway option.
