BootMii as boot2

I have a question about bootmii. this is just to clear things up. I have heard that it is impossible to install bootmii as boot2 on SM 4.2. I did install it. Is this an unusual happening?

correct me if I'm wrong anybody... but I think that only applies to new consoles that are shipped with updated boot1 code. the original boot1 has a loophole that allows boot2 to be unsigned (hacked). Otherwise boot1 is supposed to check boot2's certificate and verify it as original, signed by Nintendo.

No.

ok. i was just making sure.

SM version has no bearing on ability to install BootMii as boot2. In fact it has little bearing on anything really.

It has beariong on TP hack and bannerbomb v1! And HBC and DVDX

Slight bearing, but once homebrew is installed, little bearing. HBC- not much, latest version works exactly the same on all SMs. DVDx - yeah OK. Exploits - yeah, but there are still usable exploits on every SM.

Hackmii installer works on all SM as well.
