Upgrading HomeBrew

So I'm just wondering,how do you upgrade homebrew? Anything specific or do you just replace some files?
I accidentally lost the files on my SD card for homebrew, so I'm wondering if that's gonna give me problems when I start up my Wii or is it saved to the internal HD?

You just gotta reinstall the latest version of homebrew. There is no internal IOS that homebrew is saved to. It's just a channel like any other. It is saved to the system menu, no more, no less.

The Homebrew Channel and DVDX are stored entirely on the internal memory. HBC apps are not.
The BootMii loader is stored internally, but the ARM portion of the standard BootMii software (Mini) and its GUI (Ceiling Cat) are stored on the SD Card.

I am currently running HBC V0.3 and i want to upgrade to v0.6
when i start HBC it says it can get a update but when i download it it says this installer can not continue.
there is no known vulnerable IOS installed on this Wii.

Get Dop-IOS MOD and install any IOS. I think that will help you.

sorry i'm a noob but i only must reinstall ios34 right? i found dop-ios mod but there is only a boot.dol
my wii is already modded but i cant upgrade hbc

Yeah, you only need to install IOS34.

To make the boot.dol load, make a folder called dop ios mod inside your apps folder. Drag the boot.dol inside of that folder, and it should load through the HBC.
