Got onto the Wii this morning after being away for 2 weeks & it says I need to update ( I have never had this message before ) - no games can be played from the home screen as this message appears in that slot. I can play the games using Gekko. I have updated the Wii to 4.1 using Homebrew but this dosnt help
Do I just switch off the internet , or what do I do to get back to playing games normally?
Just let it update, it will not cause any problems. However, if you really don't want to update, you can install Priiloader or Startpatch and have it block the update.
