My friend has had a new wii for xmas and is wondering if homebrew will work on his wii???

Yes, homebrew will work on ANY Wii known to mankind.

The only thing which won't work is BootMii/boot2. And donwgraded IOS, but hey, they are teh fail anyway ;) (downgraded IOS15 will work though i.e. he can use TBR)
