European Wii in the USA

I am trying to get my Wii bought in Ireland (with Irish bought games) to work on a TV in the US. There seems to be some issues with converting from PAL to NTSC but that's all I know. I am not very technical and I'm not sure what I need to be looking for in a TV or what cables or converters are needed. Advise?

Hmmm, i dont know about cables and the like for that but you could try useing Geco OS and change the settings to 'force NTSC' That should do the trick
