Wii homebrew stuck during instalation PLEASE HELP

Hi Please Help

I am trying to load the wii homebrew channel, but it has become suck and is saying

cleaning up environment...eventbook release failed with code 0
ok.
sdr detected
opening boot.elf:
boot.elf not found (-1)
usb gecko not found
"no code found to load, hanging." on the very last line.


Do i just turn it off or can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to fix it.
How do i know if i have saved the program to the Root of the sd card? I just copied & pasted to the sd card.

My wii is still stuck saying the above it won't allow me to do anything not even turn off.......what can i do to fix it please help my kids are going to kill me!!

I'll repeat what you need exactly:
You need to put the HackMii Installer on your SD card (and not in any folders; just on the SD card).
