Assuming you are not using an "LU64+" wii, use DOP-Mii to install IOS 36 v1042.

Thank you for the info. Can you provide me a link to those things please? Cannot afford to make mistakes...

DOP-Mii. That is all you need. Launch it through the latest revision of the HBC and select use IOSxx + AHBPROT when it loads. Then install IOS 36 v1042. Again, don't do this if you are using an "LU64+" wii.

2 questions now

1: How do i check if my wii is LU64+?

2: Where in my SD card files (If not the root itself) do i put the downloaded files? And would it be wise to make a folder to put the downloaded files into?

I am a bit new at this hardcore hacking stuff so bear with me lol XD

Look on the back on the wii there will be numbers and it will say LUxxx.

I see no such numbers anywhere on the wii, so i assume that means i am safe?

No they are there look closer, if you have it on its side stand flip 180 where the rubber feet are.

This is referring to your serial number, which is on the bottom of the wii. If it starts with LU64 or higher (for NTSC-U wiis, I don't know the equivalent serial numbers for the other regions), don't downgrade IOS.

Launch DOP-Mii through the HBC just like any other application: SD:\apps\DOP-Mii\boot.dol.

Seems its a LU56 so i guess i am clear XD

So i just put the DOP-Mii.cfg into the apps folder and then boot it up? Sorry to ask so much, i just cannot afford to screw up lol

Get Dop-Mii.DOL, rename it to boot.dol and put it in SD:\apps\DOP-Mii\boot.dol. Place your SD Card into the Wii and boot the Homebrew Channel. You should see "Dop-Mii.DOL", click on it and it will boot Dop-Mii. With Dop-Mii install IOS 36 v1042. As for the *.CFG file, it is a configuration settings file and should be placed in SD:\apps\DOP-Mii\*.CFG (Remember to replace the * with the file name).

You must be using DOP-Mii: WiiBrew Edition (that is also where my previous LMGTFY link goes, by the way). And follow my previous instructions.

Well assuming that the 1.0.8 IOS58 v24.32 is the latest version how do i get those other 2 things? If my HBC is not the latest version where do i find it at?

I have no idea what else you think you need, but I assure you that you need nothing else.

"select use IOSxx + AHBPROT when it loads. Then install IOS 36 v1042."

This is all i do not get at this point. How do i go about doing this? I did not see these options when i load Dop-Mii.
