Help! Can't finish HBC update

Help! Am trying to update my HBC to 1.08, it downloads and continues, but my controller loses connection from the Wii each time and I can't move forward or back. The only way is to remove the power cord and reboot, but it is not activated. Furthermore, whenever I go to HBC it switches for controller 1 to controller 2, I lose control over controller 1 and eventually, lose control of every controller.

Yes, need to delete and start again.

Delete what? Why would they delete it if they are trying to update it.

Try syncing the remotes again and try it and see if it will work.
