Someone PLEASE help!!!

hello, im having troubles with the installation of homebrew channel.
Problem: I have downloaded the hackmii installer, (and tryed lots of zips in the installation guide...) they have all been extracted to a 2GB SD Card, boot.elf has been comped outside the folder into the root of the sd card. I put it in my nintendo wii (4.3E) and press the SD card menu, and it automaticly loads then it just says "Error #004" please help, have i forgotten something?...

so are you basicly saying that i need a game to get homebrew on wii?
does downgrading work?

Yes you need a game to run the exploit to get homebrew on a 4.3 wii. I would advise NOT to downgrade its a bad idea, it leads and casues bricks, and does nothing to help.

And you need a game exploit to perform the downgrade. And if you are using the game exploit, it makes more sense to just install HBC than to downgrade.
