After I have installed homebrew (and channels for the GX emulators), am I safe to use the eShop? I want to download Super Smash Bros. on it, but don't want to get bricked.
You can use your Wii normally, it will not be bricked if you are using anything officially from Nintendo. Feel free to purchase any games from the Wii Shop Channel.
