I was trying to install Letterbomb on my Wii but after I open the message on click on 1 I can't give any more instructions to the wii.

It's like the remote is not connected.

I read the Wii Remote Plus was responsible for that but that newer versions of Letterbomb would have that covered...

What am I missing here? Doesn't Letterbomb support Wiimote Plus after all?

If that's the case, will a cheap knock off remote work?

Well, I don't know if it supports the motion plus, but a cheap rip-off controller will probably work.
