I'm on 3.0U and I'd like to homebrew...

Hi all,

So I was just about to jump into home brewing but I noticed I was on version 3.0U, I'm have a feeling I'm going to need a higher version to play some of the games I will buy later on. What is my best route to getting a solid home brew channel going? I don't want to do the TP hack on the wrong version...

I would recommend getting at least System 3.2. I'm not sure which games update to that version by default, but I wouldn't use Nintendo's update service becuase it will bump your system to 3.4. A lot is still unknown about system 3.4 and isn't recommended to update to yet. Follow these guides for running the Twilight Hack to install the Homebrew Channel.

You can use the twilight hack mentioned above in combination with anyregion changer instead of the homebrew channel to update yourself to 3.2
