Can't load twilight hack save game

All instructions followed, using 1gig SD card fresh from package (ie, no special formatting),

1) loaded private directory from "twilight-hack-v0.1-beta2" file (so "private" is at root)
2) loaded homebrew channel "boot.dol" file from "the_homebrew_channel-1.0.1" into root
3) deleted current (real) Zelda save from Wii
4) inserted SD card with above files
5) Went to load game from SD card, saw all three saves (USA, JPN, EUR)
6) Selected USA and COPY
7) Copying started, and then suddenly stopped saying "The data was not copied"

8) Help? Have they squashed this?

Are you sure you are using the correct version of the Twilight Hack [beta1 for 3.3 or lower and beta2 for 3.4]

Yes, I am an idiot... I am using 3.3U (I had assumed I was using the most up-to-date menu, very strange).
