Exception (DSI) occurred! (Virgin Wii 4.1E)

Hi,

I recently bought a brand new black Wii, which is at menu version 4.1E
I started with a blank SD card with only the bannerbomb on it and the boot.elf (from hackmii installer v0.6)

Went to the SD card menu, inserted my card, was asked if I want to load the boot.elf, selected Yes.
Everything appears to be going as expected, I get the popup, press 1, get the load menu from HackMii installer v0.6, stating:

The test results are in:

Using IOS versons: Installer: 34, HBC: 61, DVDX: 36

The Homebrew Channel: Can be installed
DVDX: Can be installed
BootMii: Can only be installed as an IOS
The installed boot1 version prevents a boot2 install (-2)

> Continue
(I press A)

Install The Homebrew Channel

Install DVDX

BootMii...

View Copyrigbht

> Exit
(I press A again)

At this stage I get:

Exception (DSI) occurred!

(STACK DUMP/CODE DUMP)

Any ideas what could be causing this, and how to fix it?

Never mind... problem solved. I tried different bannerbomb versions, but they all resulted in the same DSI exception (with the exception of some that froze earlier). But I used an Emtec SD card (2GB), formatted with the Panasonic tool.
After reading about some issues with the Emtec cards, I tried reformatting it under Windows (format X: /FS:FAT32 /A:4096).
Placed the same set of files on the card again, and tried again. And imagine my surprise when it went through without any problems.

So this time I was also able to install BootMii and the Homebrew Channel without any problems!

Just thought I'd let you know in case anyone else runs into similar issues with their SD card.

I'm pretty sure that this doesen't go in the BootMii section...
