So just run it. Do I have to press any buttons? And can you give me a link to the source code? or upload them for me? On wiibrew, I get an error. And when I have the source code with me, how do i insert it in the hacks.ini. to make the question sound less nooby lol, what is the format in putting it in?

Just run it. I think you have to press 1 or something to start it, IIRC. Finding the source to GeckoOS will take some Googling to find. The hacks.ini file is just a list of memory patches with the offset and value. Since it doesn't seem like you would have any idea of what this means, someone else will have to do this for you. If you can find the source to GeckoOS, I'll give it a shot.

If you have bootmii as boot2, I think you can use this to change your video mode.....

Yeah, finding the Gecko OS source is a little tricky. Well finding it is easy, but parts are missing. Just take my latest Gecko OS mod you find at WiiBrew, it has some improvements you will want anyways(ported to new libogc, some game fixes).

How else would you do it.
BootMii can't and shouldn't rely on the system menu setting.

Ok. what should I use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll try the bootmii config thingy.
I just want the video settings changed.
Is there any way that I could change the video settings???????????

And please help me with the preloader thingy. Give me the link to your Gecko OS mod and the the source. And so jsmaster can edit the Preloader and put video mode!!!!

Use the bootmii config editor. That's all you need to do.

The bootmii config editor changes the video mode for BOOTMII not anything else. BootMii needs to know what video setting to use so it isnt messed up, and that app lets you change it. It doesnt change the video mode for games or the system menu.

EDIT: Do you have preloader installed now?

Oh... Have you tried StartPatch? It requires a trucha-signed IOS36.

EDIT: Try Dop-IOS to get a trucha-signed IOS36.

Well I would install preloader if you would mod the Gecko OS video mode into preloader. And DOES startpatch even change the video mode???

Hmm maybe not. First, try installing Preloader, and tell us if it worked.
