Helicopter Game

Ehm, the demo (no offense scanff :P) isn't really as hard as the flash veresion (because of the lack of incline and barriers), so i got a little over 1000 pretty easily.....

By graphics, I mean the "spritey thingys" and the background =p. This means the helicopter, some type of repeatable image to create the walls, and the blocks that act as barriers to the helicopter. Also, maybe a title screen, and a blow-up animation for the helicopter. I think that's pretty much all I would need to start with.

Easy tiger, the term "sucked", especially as it applies to homebrew, is VERY relative!

That word always applies to coding. I would say my code from a year ago sucked as I'm always learning better ways to do things. A few of you probably think it still sucks :P

Agreed. But, note that you couldnt accurately control your paddle in either - a fundamental flaw impossible thats to overlook.

Yeah i guess if you are describing non functional game play then yeah... it sucks!

but a good effort, and like you said in your post, hopefully a stepping stone towards getting better at homebrew!

i wonder if i have my first homebrew... i'm gonna put it on my HBB repository... it's gotta be worth atleast a couple of laughs
