This would be pretty neat for racing games on the older systems like the SNES, to steer them like Mario Kart Wii. It might also come in handy for those one handed people out there. I think one or more emulators on the iphone already has a feature similar to this. Would it be possible on the wii?

With VBA GX this can already be done with Mario Kart - Super Circuit if you switch "Match wii controls" on.

Uh can you name any? Yeah, how DID Tantric get those Wii style controls to work? I know the metroid ones leave much to be desired, but it's an awesome idea to have in all emulators. 'specially Wii64. =p

Well, no. But I do know people with broken arms, making one of their hands useless for gaming. Does that count?

This is only a complete guess. For the real answer, I believe Tantric must reply or you must study the source.

As every wii game has a game ID, I figured GBA games could have one too, and VBA GX probably reads that ID and compares it to a list of IDs and, when the IDs match it just remaps the controls.
