Exporting of Message board to SD

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a message board copying to SD app for the purpose of having your gaming records. As I understand it no one really understands how the data is saved/fully understood so therefore it would not be a good idea to make a backup/restore system (like the game saves). But why not a copy to the SD and view? Just keep the data on the SD itself and have the database there. The App can view, and copy/update from the wii's memory upon run (optional).

I know there is a app for reading the stats (Play stats [wiibrew.org]), Why not go one notch up and have it save it all to the SD card for backing up and ease of use. This would also work well if one ever had to get a new wii yet wanted to keep their stats/records.
