I just posted an article about the results of my examination of three different nunchuks: one official, one knock-off, and one official looking but probably fake. The two fake nunchuks used an accelerometer with the markings 6331 over QS***, where the asterisks stand in for a three letter code. I've read that newer nunchuk might have Kionix accelerometers. Are the 6331 accelerometers Kionix? The accelerometer data I get from 6331 nunchuks have bits that are permanently fixed at zero or one. Both nunchuks have stuck bits in the exact same bit positions. Does anyone know why these bits are stuck?
