QuoteCloneDeathOut of curiousity, is there a way like crayons "*_wiilight_reg" way to choose how bright it is? For bosses, me and my room mate thought it would be fun to sync the boss's HP with the light on the wii. If not, then I will have to look into whatever this dude is using~The way it's achieve in Libwiilight is by turn the light on and off with a different interval. So it looksby Crayon - Coding
QuotegiantpuneOk. I'm having a very similar issue to this. I am not new to programming but I am getting this noob error. Maybe somebody can tell me what I forgot to do. I am trying to use the wiilight library from wiibrew. I have put the .h and .a files in the right folders in devkit. I said #include at the top of main.c. I put this line in the main function after the video_inby Crayon - Coding
If you want to turn the light on and off. Just use this code: static vu32 *_wiilight_reg = (u32*)0xCD0000C0; /** * Turn Wii light off */ void WIILIGHT_TurnOff() { *_wiilight_reg &= ~0x20; } /** * Turn Wii light on */ void WIILIGHT_TurnOn() { *_wiilight_reg |= 0x20; }by Crayon - Coding
QuoteAmitRI think I'll try using GRRLIB for now and see how that goes.. Thanks for all your responses! To view the complete list of GRRLIB apps go to this page: It might be useful because a lot of them are open source. I you have a specific question about GRRLIB, there is a forum available: Good luck!by Crayon - Coding
Thanks guys for those informations that explain why my previous attempt to play pcm files failed. It ended up playing noise each time.by Crayon - Coding
Tantric, how do you generate the PCM files? I tried opening them (libwiigui-1.02\source\sounds) with Media Player Classic and it does not work. When I want to open the file in Audacity I need to do an "import raw". So now my question is, how do I save a file in a PCM format that could be read on the Wii with asndlib? Thanks!by Crayon - Coding
I don't known, I found that out two weeks ago by checking the sources of a project.by Crayon - Coding
It should be read Errror 2 and not Error on line 2 And the definition of error 2 is: Command syntax errorby Crayon - Coding
If you use the Makefile code, the .h file will be generated in the build folder. If your image was named my_image.png the header file will be my_image_png.h So just included that file. size is: my_image_png_size data is: my_image_png[]by Crayon - Coding
I'm sad you don't want to use my tool :( I guess this the code you are talking about: #--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- # This rule links in binary data with the .png extension #--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- %.png.o : %.png #-----------------------------------------------------by Crayon - Coding
Quotetrottolook....but it is possible to have the homebrew channel source?(or the homebrew browser?) they are free to download?Source code for those programs are not available. But a lot of other apps are open source:by Crayon - Coding
I have a question related to the last message. I'm now able to play MP3's in my game but I want to add sound fx, what's the best way to do that. Because from what I understand there is no way to play mp3 in different channel so I need to pick another format. So which is the best combination: * mp3+ogg * mp3+pcm * ogg+pcm * ?+? And most importantly where could I find a code sby Crayon - Coding
What kind of mp3 does mp3player plays (Bit Size/stereo or mono/sampling rate)?by Crayon - Coding
Try to use (paste) the code from an example, there is a folder called examples in the rar file.by Crayon - Coding
If you need help with 2D design maybe you could use GRRLIB 4.0.0 to help you: Check the examples folder in rar file.by Crayon - Coding
Make sure this path is OK in GRRLIB.c: #include "../libpng/pngu/pngu.h" // This is mine Make sure the lib is included in your Make file: LIBS := ......... -lpng ................ In the Make file the path needs to be OK too: GRRLIB := ../../GRRLIB TARGET := $(notdir $(CURDIR)) BUILD := build SOURCES := source source/gfx $(GRRLIB)/GRRLIB $(GRRLIB)/lib/libpng/pngu DATA := data Iby Crayon - Coding
GRRLIB 4.0.0 is not using a pointer to a texture anymore, it's using a struct called GRRLIB_texImg. GRRLIB_texImg GRRLIB_LoadTexture(const unsigned char my_img[]); In the file you downloaded (http://grrlib.santo.fr/release/GRRLib4.0.0.rar) there is a folder called examples, go and the look at the code.by Crayon - Coding
Hi, what is exactly your problem, code dump, image showing in a weird way? If you are under Windows, you may want to try this tool: If you have warnings while converting, it wont work in GRRLIB.by Crayon - Coding
I don't think you need to use a return at the end of each callback. I don't know why it's not working, your code looks a lot like the one I added in the Developer tips:by Crayon - Coding
Hi, I want to count the number of child within a node with mxml. I guess there must be a function for that, but since I don't know it I use my own. So if you know something faster, please let know. unsigned int ChildCount(mxml_node_t *Up_Node, const char *Name) { int Count = 0; if(Up_Node) { mxml_node_t *Message_Node = NULL; for(Message_Node = mxmlFindElement(Up_Node, Up_Noby Crayon - Coding

QuoteDykamWhat's wrong with C#? C# is an object-oriented programming language developed by Microsoft. No need to say more.by Crayon - Offtopic
C++ was developed in 1979, I don't think it will be replaced soon ;) Anyway if you learn C++ it's like learning C and Java. C because the syntax is similar and Java because it's object oriented language,by Crayon - Offtopic
