it's all right. I have downloaded your copy of mxml, I have put the libs (*.h and *.a) into libogc directories and now my homebrew is working fine. I thank everyone best regardsby prampa - Coding
OK. I like your organization and I think that it's could be included in a category of "tricks and tips" . However, I have to use xml in my project. What do you think about it? Do I write myself the code to handle nodes and attributes of a xml document? Do I look for compatibles libs (devkit & other) with my version of mxml? regardsby prampa - Coding
It's terrible what are you telling! I understand your kind of organization, but is it really necessary? However you have "n" kit of compatible libs with each other, and you use one of them depending on what you have to compile. But you can't use a combination of them. Is it right? I'm sorry because I can't use the library and I have to write other software to handle xml fileby prampa - Coding
Does it mean that when I find a good working kit (versions of devkit, libogc, mxml, libfat, grrlib/libwiisprite......and so on) i MUST keep it and develop only with it? Anyway, I don't understand the bind between libogc and handling xml files. I hope this isn't out of topic... hiby prampa - Coding
I'm using libogc version 1.8.1 and devkitppc release 19. How is possible to get all these broken references? Doesn't it exist a "deprecated" target version for the libraries, doesn't it? It's a great problem, in my opinion. Does it exist another library to handle xml files? Thankby prampa - Coding
hi, I'm doing a c++ class to handle xml files. I downloaded mxml-wii, copied the included files into the right libogc path (include and lib) and modified Makefile with options -lmxml. OK. I compile the homebrew, but I'm getting this error (linking step): /home/casa/wii/devkitPro/libogc/lib/wii/libmxml.a(mxml-file.o): In function `mxml_get_entity': /home/ew562c/Dev/wiichat/Cliby prampa - Coding
Thank for the help. Today I have done some test and now the button is a very "elastic button". It has a variable width depending on the width of the text. I used the same technique for mouseover effects, too. My button works fine. I divided a single image in three tiles: left, middle (variables in width) and right. Now I'm doing some test with the "scaleX" in the afternoon. Regardby prampa - Coding
Hi, I'd like make a elastic button for my homebrew using grrlib library. I'd to copy the idea used to styling the html button with the "sliding doors" technique. Two images (left side and right side) and one of them that slide inside the other one. With this technique, I can make a button with a variable width depending on the size of the text showed. How can I join more images in aby prampa - Coding
OK. I set the suject of the present topic to RESOLVED because I'm so satisfied of the tips which I got. IMHO, a make command in a terminal session is the better way to build a homebrew. Thank for the cooperation.by prampa - Offtopic
I'm building the project within codeblocks using a my custom makefile, now. But I have a new question. Current makefile works fine from the command line. When I invoke the same makefile within codeblocks, I get some errors. In my homebrew I'm using custom font in "ttf" format. Within codeblocks I'm getting the error "font_ttf.h: No such file or directory". The font is within oby prampa - Offtopic
It's all right. I have set the right values in codeblocks and now it works fine! Autocompletition code, list of the members of all classes and of the imported libraries. Perfect. I'm using it on linux now. A last question. Have I type "make" from command line in a terminal session to build the project? Can I associate an existing makefile to the project? So I can create the .dol justby prampa - Offtopic
I read the link to configure code:blocks posted in a previously topic by topgun96. I tried to set some variables in the compiler and linking section, too. I have resolved! I don't know how, but now my homework works so fine!!. My homework connects itself to a server, executes a script php server side, parses and prints to video the returning text. I returned xml now, but I don't understand very well why it works now. I'm doing other tests and I'll show you my progresses as soon as possible. Thank everyoneby prampa - Coding
Resolved. All libraries were inside the right folders. It was just a problem with their name (case sensitive). For examples, I had freeTypeGX.a. I have modified its name in freetypegx.a and, magically, I have compiled. The same for libMetaphrasis (i had libmetaphrasis) and so on. I'm using linux. I don't understand why, but I have resolved now: it's all right. thankby prampa - Coding

It seems just a problem of redirecting on the server. OK. But if I try with another path (I tested it on firefox) something returns, but my homebrew crashes (ERROR (SDI) OCCURRED) when I try to print to video the returning html from the web server. Hi everybody, I'm trying to receive data from a site using a my homebrew. I copied and modified code from an existing example. If I let the original url, the homebrew gets data correctly (it prints them to video). If I set my url in the homebrew, I get a error code 404 (the homebrew prints text of the html to video...) Thanks for all replies. I got latest versions of devkitPro (subversion) and GRRLIB (4.10) for linux yesterday. I deployed the software and compiled all the examples. It was just a conflict between different versions of the previous software. I'd like starting with GRRLIB and, next, to add libwiisprite, too. Thanks for the quick replies. I understand now. I think to use grrlib. My main goal now is to get an environment clean, without errors and compatible with my homebrew channel.
