Solved. Thanks a lot Sifjarby WalangAlam - Homebrew General
Activated the Bannerbom. When I clicked to run the boot.dol, I get a blank screen and Wii freezes. History: Someone I knew, tried to mod it. Used cioscorp v3.3 and it got bricked. Garbled phrases in the Health Screen. Since it got Pleloader, I used DOP-Mii to install IOS60 and 4.1 System Menu. Preloader gone. After that I was able to enter to Wii channel screen. Returned it to the ownerby WalangAlam - Homebrew General
Based on what I read so far, what we need to do are these: 1. Install US IOS60-patched 2. Install US System Menu 4.1 3. Use AnyRegion Changer to change the Console Area Setting, Region Setting, and Language Setting. Are these steps correct? Will it semibricked the Wii and Wii Settings will not be accessible anymore if we do these?by WalangAlam - Homebrew General
I should get an UPS if I will update then. Power Interruption(during boot2 & system menu updates) may brick wii but not internet connection interruption. Ok got those.by WalangAlam - Homebrew General
QuoteArikadoQuoteWalangAlamthanks for that. i was advised in another forum that I should not update using wifi since updating through wifi is a "hairy business" and can brick my wii. I got so worried when my updates encountered an error halfway through the update. Then I would kill your account and never, ever go to that forum again. So long as you're not playing jump rope with your Wiisby WalangAlam - Homebrew General

Quotejbc007It is safe to update through wifi. If the connection fails, some parts of the update will not be installed, but your wii will not brick. even if it finished only 10% due to loss in wifi or internet signal, it will not brick my wii? could I repeat the update process again and again until it finishes 100%?by WalangAlam - Homebrew General
Quotedirtrider73068If you unplug it or lose power it will brick, or if you have stuff that is not supported here will likely brick it with update. Other than that I see it being safe to update through wifi. If not mistaken there is an adapter you can get and connect the wii through a ethernet cord and not go wifi. so if I will plug it to an UPS it's safe? yet there is a internet wired adatby WalangAlam - Homebrew General
I read that updating through wifi could brick your wii. How will updating throught wifi brick a wii? What are the things that can brick the wii while updating via wifi? lost internet connection? Does wii save the updates downloaded through wifi in a temp memory before installing them? Why does nintendo put an wifi updates if it can brick your wii? I updated my friend's wii via wifi.by WalangAlam - Homebrew General
QuoteArikadoActually, Gecko OS asks you if it's okay if it (Gecko OS) installs the update for you from the disc. and is it okay to say "Yes install" if Gecko OS ask me to install the update for me from the disc?by WalangAlam - Getting Started

QuoteSifJarNo. HackMii Installer does not work on Korean Wiis afaik. It works for USA, Japanese and PAL Wiis though, and if you change the region to one of those it will work on a Korean Wii, but updating to 4.2 on a region changed Korean Wii will result in an Error 003 "brick". so what can i use on Korean wii to install homebrews?by WalangAlam - Getting Started

ya. the clerk was so vague. he just said Mario Bros and sound unsure. time to visit him i guess.by WalangAlam - Getting Started
QuoteWikiFSXYour video store does mean NSMBWii if you are talking about Wii games. Or, they could be being really vague and talking about any game from Strikers Charged to Super Paper Mario. Most games released around now should have it. are updates indicated on the back of the cover case? something like "4.20 firware update included"by WalangAlam - Getting Started
i called the local videostore and they told me that they only have super mario bros. is this different from new super mario bros? any other games that have the latest updates other than nsmb?by WalangAlam - Getting Started
