Well, dudes, when the homebrew browser finally opens after a successfully connecting to the network it has to load 400+ icons etc. If it stalls or freezes have you ever checked your network connection to make sure it didn't drop? Is the Wiimote an actual wiimote or a 3rd party wiimote that you are connecting the european classic controller into? It's worth seeing if you get the same issues occur if you use a ordinary wii classic controller sold here in the U.S. You may be able to narrow down the cause and then if need me look into configurations. are you still having the same issue? what technoman is talking about is in fact a known issue and his suggestion does work. I had to do the same .xml edit on 3 different apps because those emulators kept crashing on me. I don't know if it makes much of a difference and I'm sure technoman can verify but what I did after deleting that specific line was to move the line below it back upby papsmear - Homebrew Applications
I would have to agree with dirtrider. I use a combination of oem hardware plus 3rd party and don't have any issues. However, like dirtrider said, you always take a chance with 3rd party hardware not working. You can pretty much narrow it down to that if your oem controllers don't have any issues interacting with the wii software.
